Your first impression when you walk in to Dr. Gilbert’s office is one of real serenity and calmness. I think he does his best to provide an environment that is peaceful and relaxing and once you start talking to the people behind the counter, you see how professional they are. He immediately gives you that feeling that you can trust, not only Dr. Gilbert himself but his staff, that you are in good hands and that you are going to be taken care of while you are here.

Let me talk about my staff a little bit. I love my staff. I have the greatest group of people that you could work with, so much talent, a lot of experience. I think the biggest thing that is great about my staff is they are such a caring group of people. They are mothers, they are daughters, they are wives, and they are people that have true compassion. One of my patients the other day said that is the main reason she comes. She said I like you Dr. Gilbert but I come because of your staff. Because they do not put her on hold and they do not make her wait. They give her a warm blanket and a warm towel and a flower when she leaves. They make her feel special. I do my best to take good care of her but I will tell you my staff, they are my key players. You know, it seems in this day and age that service, caring for people as individuals is kind of gone out of style. I think that is wrong. I think that is why I am so pleased to have the staff that I have because, I tell people all the time when they compliment my staff, I am so blessed to have this group of people. It is the best group of people to work with.

I just enjoy the service. Fortunately, he is able to have early appointments, which fits my busy schedule with work, the friendly staff, excellent staff I have know, two or three of the staff since I have started coming to Dr. Gilbert.

They are constantly asking me, “Are you okay? Does anything hurt? Are you comfortable with this?” and a lot of times when you go to a dentist, they do not ask you that.

We try to give them every thing we can, you know, when the way of being comfortable, when you know, we keep the cool in here, we give them blankets, give them protective eyewear to keep their eyes covered and to just make them feel anyway they can feel comfortable. And they do not feel like they are in a dental office, they feel like they are in a spa.

They really do care about your needs as a patient and one of the most impressive things that I experienced in Dr. Gilbert’s office is that they know how to listen. One of the first things, Dr. Gilbert will ask you is what are the goals that you have for your smile and he hands you the mirror and he sits back and he listens, that is pretty impressive.
